From 1st of march to 21st of March, Tu Face Idibia

and friend will be going round the country to paint it red. According to MTN it will be an opportunity to jam live with 2Face and friends at different Nigerian cities set to kick off at Benin and will round off with a bash in Abuja.

The schedule is as follows:

1st march 2008- Benin

5th March 2008- Ibadan

8th March 2008- Lagos

12th March 2008- Enugu

19th March 2008- Kaduna

21st March 2008- Abuja

So all you need do is wait till it's the day for your city. Don't fail to hook up with Tu Baba and friends.

The event was supposed to have held earlier than now but was postponed. I guess this time, MTN is ready so no lele.

Dbanj @ Discovery Show Live In Calabar

Calabar is at it again . This time it's a talent hunt show set to future the best of the calabar up coming musical talents.

The event is not just all about up coming artiste but will also be featuring the likes of Falade, Sunny Nneji, DBanj (the kokolet master), Sammy Okposo and others.

I will love to be there to watch my favourites calabar up coming art and that is the 'Sunsun man'. I really love his style and would enjoy watching him hold his own against the the big names and icons of the Nigerian entertainment industry. The Discovery Show live in calabar comes up on Friday 29th February 2008.

It is really amazing how this stars quickly go bankrupt. The same lavish Michael Jackson bankrupt?

First it was Mike Tyson who has resorted to singing just to raise money to pay off his depth. A man who at a time used to earn $30 dollars in a couple of seconds.

Michael Jackson's penchant for lush plush living is well known and shamefully we are not aware of any big investment owned by him. For a debt of 'just' $24.5m, Wacko Jacko is going to have his home put on auction by next month if he fails to pay up.

It is difficult to believe that Michael Jackson can be this broke up to the extent of losing his home. What was he thinking?

Nigerian artists who are currently having a swell time making millions of Naira should better learn from this. If tomorrow, we hear that 2Face has gone broke, it will really be a shameful episode after all the money we hear he's currently raking in on album sales, shows and endorsements.

Why Nigerian Artiste Abroad Should Return

If you are a Nigerian and an artist, yet still living out there in a foreign country, it is high time you followed the footsteps of others like DBang, The Mandators, Majek Fashek etc. and return home if you are really kin on getting something out of your career.

This doesn't mean that you still can not make it outside of Nigeria but it will sure do you a whole lot of good if you return home to sing for a people who speak the same language with you and are better placed to appreciate you.

It is more and more becoming unattractive for musicians to travel away from Nigeria.
